7 (Musica sacra)

This piece is Marcello Filotei’s meditation on Haydn’s "Septem verba Christi in cruce". It is both a transcription of the Austrian composer’s famous work and an original reinterpretation of the final moments of Jesus’ life, which the composer chose to set for an unusual ensemble.
